The Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) is still accepting donations for Auction 2008, live and silent auctions, to be held on March 29 at the Royal Plaza Hotel in Fitchburg. The donation deadline has been extended to February 25th! Donations may be brought to the NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119), in Groton, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4:30 PM. To accommodate those who have difficulty stopping by during the work week, the NRWA will be open special hours, 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, on Saturday, February 23. Please take time to think about what you could donate to the auction- a professional service, an antique, concert or sports tickets, be creative- and stop in to see us. Your donation to the auction will support the NRWA's land protection, water monitoring, and environmental education programs that make our communities such wonderful places to live, work, and play.
