Tsongas and Ogonowski win in Dunstable

With only 16% (331) of registered voters showing up at the polls, Dunstable Democrats chose Niki Tsongas as the Democratic party candidate and Republican voters chose Jim Ogonowski as the Republican party candidate in the Special State Primary Election for the 5th Congressional District.

Dunstable's results paralleled the overall election results, which puts those two names on the Special State Election ballot for October 16. The winner will take Marty Meehan's seat in the US Congress as representative for the 5th Congressional District.
