Hargraves receives suicide prevention award

State Representative Robert Hargraves and other members of the Joint Conference Committee on Health Care Reform have received Leadership in Suicide Prevention Awards from the Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention at a recent State House ceremony. The Coalition is a broad based alliance of suicide prevention advocates, including public and private agency representatives, policy makers, suicide attempt survivors and mental health consumers, families and friends who have been impacted by suicidal behavior, and other concerned citizens.

Rep. Hargraves and the other legislators were recognized for their efforts to include suicide prevention in Massachusetts' landmark health care reform legislation.
