Joyce Frederick is a watercolor and acrylics painter, who works out of her studio in Dunstable. One of her most visible pieces around town is the Dunstable Diorama, which was used to create the banner for this website. Click on the images below to see a few samples of her work:
She has studied art at the New England School of Art & Design, Harvard University Graduate School of Design as well as working with individual artists including Selma Bromberg, printmaker, with whom she studied monoprinting, wood cuts, and etching. She also studies plein air watercolor painting with Cape Ann artist Paul George and has participated in a workshop with Australian watercolor artist Rober Wade.
Joyce is an active member of the Dunstable Artisans. Each year, in addition to exhibiting her work at other galleries, she participates in the Spring Art Show at the Little Red School House, and the Dunstable Artisans Show and Sale at Swallow Union School, which is coming up in October.
